Home care is the provision of care (medical and/or non-medical) in the privacy of the recipient’s home. Quality First Home Care provides both medical and non-medical care. We provide medical care via the services of your physician and our nurses (skilled nursing care). We also provide personal care/companionship services via the services of our nurses and certified nursing assistants.
Companionship services include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, transportation, medication reminders, grooming. Personal care services include services such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene, mobility assistance, transferring, positioning, toileting, incontinence, and feeding or special diet (if applicable).
Our services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Note you can hire our services for as little as 2 hours a day to 24 hours a day.
Yes. We do service residents of assisted living or nursing homes who like us to provide services in addition to, or instead of, the services being provided at their institutional facilities.
Our caregivers are state certified nursing assistants. In consultation with you, your family, and your physician (if you have one), our nurse (RN) will design and write a plan of care for you (it will be updated, at least once in a year, to accommodate your changing needs). Your caregiver will use your unique plan of care as the roadmap in offering care to you.
